Lord Byron Nelson’s Jewel

Established in September 1994, Timarron Country Club features a championship course designed by the legendary Lord Byron Nelson. Working in conjunction with the firm of Finger Dye Spann, Inc., these veteran architects artfully preserved the natural beauty of the land with its rolling topography, wooded terrain and the winding Big Bear Creek. Their success was evident. Just a few months after opening to rave reviews, Timarron was rated as the seventh best new golf course in the nation by Golf Digest magazine.

Timarron Country Club was also awarded the 1999 Environmental Steward Award for North Texas from the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. Exceptional quality and experience continue to define Timarron. This award-winning Club receives recognition year after year for the golf course as well as for the amenities and activities available to Members.
