Leagues

Tournaments
Your leagues provide some of the most exciting golf tournaments around. You’ll play challenging rounds, meet fellow Members and, with any luck, win some great prizes. Eagle's Nest holds tournaments from April to October, including the very popular Beat the Pro, casual “Nine and Dine,” a spring and fall Member-Member, two Member-Guest events, Ryder Cup, Senior and Junior events and Club Championships.
Junior Golf

Golf Services
Lessons
Here at Eagle's Nest, we strive to provide the highest level of instruction and service. We take great pride in improving the games of all our students: beginners, juniors, women, high handicaps, mid-range handicaps and the scratch golfer.
Instruction Program & Lesson Rates
The programs that we offer to gain improvement include private instruction, golf schools and clinics, seminars, video analysis with FlightScope Xi Technology, custom club fitting, and course management. Our philosophy is that everyone is unique in their ability to swing a golf club. Our training as PGA Professionals gives us the ability to locate and understand physical limitations that prevent the student from achieving an efficient and consistent golf swing. Our desire is to have the student understand their flaw, self-correct the complex golf swing motion through a series of golf-specific exercises, and be able to implement these changes during play immediately. Our number one goal is to make you a better golfer and help you enjoy the game even more.
Pro Shop
At the heart of our golf program is our Pro Shop. The staff is led by PGA Director of Golf Nick Miller. Nick and his professional staff are dedicated to creating a premier golf experience for Members and their guests from the moment they step foot onto the property until they hit their last shot on the golf course.
The Pro Shop carries a large line of high-quality clubs, merchandise, and accessories for Men, Women, & Juniors. The Pro Shop will also match or beat any price that you find at the larger sporting goods stores. We also feature Demo Days & Club Fitting events with brands such as Titleist, TaylorMade, and Callaway.

Learn to Crush It!
Our engaging Crush It! program introduces junior golfers to essential skills they’ll use for a lifetime — both on and off the course. We’ll go beyond golfing basics like stance and swing to help young golfers develop key character traits like confidence, respect and self-discipline. From age-appropriate instruction for our youngest golfers to competitive development for teens, Crush It! is shaping the next generation of golfers.

About Amy
Amy is an Eastern Shore native who moved to Baltimore during her teenage years. After high school, she tried her hand at Fashion Design only to discover that Event Planning was where her passion truly lies. Prior to joining Eagle’s Nest, Amy worked at UnderArmour clothing company for 9 years beginning in 2006. She started in the accounting department and eventually worked her way up to being a member of the Private Events Team. When Amy is not planning the perfect event, she loves spending time with her husband Arek and their furry dog child, Kaz, a golden retriever.

About Nick
Nick was born and raised in Hanover, PA where he first started working in the golf industry at South Hills Golf Club. Nick also had the privilege of working at Lake Presidential Timber Ridge Golf Club, and Crofton Country Club, while obtaining his Certified Professional status in General Management within the PGA of America. Nick brings extensive experience with Club operations management in public and private clubs. His accomplishments include the course record of 66 at Timber Ridge Golf Club and playing in mini-tour series events. He is eager to serve the members & guests, while also growing membership and developing new programs at the Club. Nick lives in the Baltimore area with his wife Tara and two boys- Blake and Rhett.
Garrett Brown

About Garrett
Garrett Brown grew up in Severn, MD & attended Glen Burnie High School playing Golf, Basketball & Baseball. He attended Goldey - Beacom College graduating in 2017 with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management while playing four years of collegiate golf. Garrett joined the Eagles Nest team in the summer of 2017, and started the PGM Associate program in 2018.
Bryan Shepherd

About Bryan
Bryan Shepherd grew up in Parkville, Maryland. He received his degree in Golf Course Management from the University of Maryland. His career began for a love of the game and grew into a passion for turf management. He has been in the industry for 20+ years. Shepherd joined the Eagle’s Nest family eight years ago. Seven of those years he has served as Assistant Superintendent before being promoted to Head Superintendent. When he’s not making sure the course is in perfect condition, he loves spending time with his high school sweetheart turned wife and their two children.
Zach Stanford

About Zach
Zach Stanford was born in LaPlata, MD but was raised in Lexington Park, MD where he attended Great Mills High School playing baseball and golf. Zach went on to attend Towson University in 2016 where he graduated with a degree in Sport Management and minored in Business Administration in 2020. Zach joined the Eagle's Nest team in 2019 and started the PGM Associate Program in 2021. Zach has also helped coach at the First Tee of Greater Baltimore, as well as Five Iron Golf in the city of Baltimore. Zach assists with junior camps and ladies clinics, and helps coordinate our Crush It Junior Program.
