Chapel Hills Course
Chapel Hills, located just west of Atlanta in Douglasville, Georgia, has been delighting Members and guests ever since it opened in 1992. Clustered with another Member favorite, Mirror Lake, the Chapel Hills cluster is one of the most popular in our Atlanta collection of championship golf courses.
Chapel Hills was a difficult course to design, as course designers Rocky Roquemore and Jeff Burton were required to navigate through steep hills and numerous granite outcroppings so typical in the state of Georgia.
The end result is a course that is as pleasing aesthetically as it is challenging from a golfer’s perspective. Chapel Hills is known for its signature double green on which golfers can complete both the front and back nines. The undulating double green on holes 9 and 18, as well as every other green on the course, are some of the best kept and fastest in the area.
Walking is permitted after 3 p.m. on weekends/holidays.
Mirror Lake Course
Mirror Lake, located just west of Atlanta in Villa Rica, Georgia, is a Rocky Roquemore and Jeff Burton creation that has been delighting Atlanta Members and guests ever since its opening in 1999. Although it opened as a 27-hole golf course, the addition of nine more holes in November of 2006 made Mirror Lake a 36-hole facility.
Mirror Lake is set on the shore of the beautiful, 100-acre Mirror Lake and the modern design of the course features some of the area’s most spectacular views.
Atlanta golfers who choose to make the short drive on I-20 to visit Mirror Lake always enjoy the challenge of the four distinct nines and five tee options.
Mirror Lake is open seven days a week. Walking is permitted after 3 p.m. on weekends/holidays.
