The Generator Bar (2,425 sq. ft.) 

An extension of Salt + Brine, The Generator serves as the front porch for The Alexandria. Created to be quiet and contemplative during the day and then to transform into large-group merriment at social hour and beyond.  

Sun goes down, music goes up, the big game comes on, and friendships are formed. From the creation of recording technology to setting a new horizon for biotech, The Generator Bar celebrates the energy and spirit of innovation that drives San Carlos.  

The Silicon Valley of today stands on the shoulders of the pioneers of the City of Good Living,

The Generator Bar invites members to do just that.  

Food: A counter-service extension of Salt + Brine, punctuated by Insta-ready, loreworthy specials. 

Drink (PM): beer bar galore, from local taps to coolers of cans/bottles served to your hammock, or the firepit.

Life Sized Chess // An opportunity to challenge your mind and your lab partner, dive out of work and into chess, while enjoying a cold beverage.
