Stephen Moskal - Player Development Director

Stephen Moskal’s 30 years as a golf professional has taken him around the world. He has touched pretty much every aspect of the game: he played NCAA Division I, played professionally in Europe for 10 years, designed an 18-hole course, laid out some of the first courses in Mongolia, was an NCAA golf coach, was a golf contributor for UPI.COM covering Ryder Cups and the majors, has taught over 20,000 students, helped launch an Asian sports camp in Thailand (entering its 10th season of operation), worked with elite amateurs and professionals, has trained extensively with experts in every element of golf, was part of the start-up team of TopGolf USA as Director of Instruction, launched one of the first on-line instruction websites, custom built golf clubs and has been an assistant green-keeper.

Mitchum Jasper Jr. - Player Development Professional

Mitchum Jasper Jr., Player Development Professional, is a PGA Associate working towards his Class A certification. Mitchum hold teaching certifications from USGTF (Level III) and US Kids Golf and is competent utilizing Trackman, Flighscope, Foresight and Topswing Golf Robot.  He is a certified Club Fitter for Callaway, Ping, Titleist, TaylorMade and Mizuno. 

 

Born on the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Mitchum picked up the game of golf at the age of 11 on a 9 hole golf course. At the age of 14, he was selected to represent his country in the Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championship where he placed 2nd in his age division. Mitchum would go on to represent his country for several more years on its junior and senior national golf teams until he turned professional in 2010.

 

Mitchum has taught golf to juniors and adults in Germany, Puerto Rico and The Bahamas while continuing to improve his knowledge of the golf swing. In 2019, after the devastation to The Bahamas following Hurricane Dorian, Mitchum moved to Virginia where he served as a Golf Coach with GOLFTEC. As the lead teaching professional, he taught just short of 3000 lessons over the past 2 years. 

 

Mitchum has helped many players, from beginners to aspiring golf professionals, achieve their goals over the years. His wholistic approach to teaching ensures that his clients see long term improvements to their games and scores. Now at Piedmont, Mitchum is very excited about this new role and is here to help you improve your game.
